Marble Spaceport Assembly

Allow about 5.5 hours for this 472-piece wooden construction kit. The build has a hard difficulty rating, with numbered parts and illustrated instructions to guide each stage. Pieces fit together without glue as you assemble the frame, position the tracks, and connect the moving sections in the specified order.

Drive Options

Hand Crank and USB Power

Turn the side crank to move the mechanism by hand, or let the built-in motor take over. The motor operates at 70 rpm and uses a USB-C power connection. A power cable isn't included, so you'll need to supply your own to run the model in electric mode.

Vertical Transport

Stair Lift and Gear Train

A stair lift carries balls up through this mechanical wooden puzzle. Its platforms rise and fall in sequence, passing each ball to the next level along a zigzag path. An exposed gear train drives the lifting motion, returning the balls to the upper track for their next descent.

Ball Routing

Five Tracks and a Transparent Spiral

Six diversion mechanisms route the balls across five tracks, including a two-level track section. A gravity-operated divider changes their direction, while a collection mechanism redistributes arriving balls. The transparent spiral adds a fast descent: you can follow each ball as it circles down and exits onto the lower track.

Display Space

Dimensions and Industrial Details

This wooden model kit measures 312 × 251 × 230 mm when assembled, approximately 12.3 × 9.9 × 9.1 inches. Dark gray panels, silver details, and an acrylic nameplate give it an industrial look. Check those dimensions against your display space, allowing extra room beside the model for access to the crank.

Optional Expansion

Marble Night City Connection

Marble Spaceport connects to Marble Night City with Link Pack, expanding this DIY wooden model into a larger circuit. Its motor can then drive both models together. Marble Night City and Link Pack are sold separately. Allow room for both models and the connecting tracks when planning the combined layout.
