Assembled size

Wheeled Siege Artillery Assembly

Set aside about two hours for the 158-piece wooden construction kit, rated medium difficulty at three stars out of five. You'll work with laser-cut plywood and numbered parts, following illustrated instructions through the assembly. Remove pieces as you need them to keep small components organized on your work surface.

Manual Controls

Handle and Trigger

Pull back the handle, place a ball in the barrel, then pull the trigger to launch it. Rubber-band tension supplies the force, so you control each shot by hand. The handle and trigger sit behind the barrel, keeping the operating controls together at the rear of the cannon.

Position and Aim

Wheels and Barrel Adjustment

Both large wheels turn, allowing you to reposition the cannon by hand on a tabletop. The barrel pivots on its side mounts, so you can raise or lower it independently. A curved scale beside the barrel gives this mechanical wooden puzzle a visible reference when you set the firing angle.

Barrel Construction

Wooden Slats and Support Rings

Narrow wooden slats form the round barrel, with circular rings holding its shape along the length. Fine engraved lines run down the slats, and small repeating markings add detail between them. The open muzzle leaves the barrel's construction visible, showing how individual flat pieces make up the curved outer surface.

Included Ammunition

Table Tennis Balls

Ping-pong balls are included with this wooden model kit. The launcher uses standard table tennis balls, which are easy to spot and collect after a shot. Set aside a clear area before trying it, and keep the barrel pointed away from faces and eyes during use.

Display Space

Finished Size and Footprint

The assembled DIY wooden model measures 12.6 inches long, 5.1 inches wide and 8.3 inches tall (320 by 130 by 210 mm). Its rear supports are part of that footprint, so check shelf depth before choosing a spot. The natural wood finish suits a desk, bookcase or display cabinet.
