Morse Code Mechanics

This 60-piece model kit takes about one hour to assemble and has an easy difficulty rating. The finished Morse Telegraph measures 64 × 70 × 112 mm. Its vertical layout builds upward from a round base, so most of the 112 mm height sits above a footprint only 64 × 70 mm.

Signal Controls

Telegraph Key and Signal Sequence

The spring-loaded telegraph key controls the model after power is connected. One press turns on the light and starts the mechanism; a second press produces the beep-beep sound and flashing light. Holding the key for three seconds powers the unit off, giving this mechanical puzzle a defined three-step control sequence.

Gear Motion

Bevel Gear Drive System

A multi-stage bevel gear system transfers kinetic energy through a 90-degree change in direction, while a reduction motor drives the movement. The construction kit leaves the large side wheel and part of the gear train exposed, so the motion remains visible during operation and the drive system can be inspected after assembly.

Linked Operation

Industrial City Connection Modes

Industrial City offers Track Link and Wireless Link. In Wireless Link, each model is powered individually by Type-C and can sit up to five meters apart. Track Link allows synchronized startup through a powered base. Within these linked setups, Morse Telegraph receives control signals; it does not send commands to other models.

Type-C Power and Connector Requirements

For standalone use, the model requires a 5V, 1A Type-C power connection, and the Type-C cable is not included. The optional Industrial City connection set is sold separately and includes a six-way power base with a dual-headed Type-C bridge, with one connector needed for each model attached to the base.

Industrial Material and Color Scheme

The finished model combines plastic and metal parts with bronze, black, silver, and dark metallic finishes. A red telegraph indicator light sits above the body, while exposed wheels, gears, piping, and the spring-loaded key carry the Industrial City styling across the front and both sides of the machine.
