Submachine Gun Assembly

Numbered, laser-cut pieces and illustrated instructions guide the build. The wooden construction kit uses interlocking joints, so the wooden sections fit together without glue. You’ll assemble the body and moving components step by step, checking each connection before continuing. Keep the smaller parts organized as you work through the instructions.

Rubber Band Action

Ten Shots per Load

This mechanical wooden puzzle holds ten rubber bands and can fire them in a continuous burst at up to five shots per second. The range reaches up to 26 feet. Internal springs and rubber bands power the mechanism, so you don’t need batteries to use the finished toy.

Magazine Design

Detachable Drum and Shell Ejection

Ten dummy shells fit inside the removable drum magazine. As you fire, the mechanism ejects them through the side opening, adding a separate moving action to each shot. The drum comes off for reloading. You can also use the toy without it when you’d rather skip collecting the ejected shells.

Thompson Styling

Barrel Fins and Shaped Grips

At 0.8:1 scale, this DIY wooden model has a long barrel with ring-shaped fins and separate front and rear grips. Finger grooves shape the front grip, while the stock curves down behind the body. A curved guard surrounds the trigger just behind the circular drum magazine.

Decorative Finish

Rose Motif and Engraved Details

A rose motif fills the pale panel on the stock. Brown grip panels contrast with the lighter wooden body, while engraved borders and lettering run along the sides. Small ornamental patterns surround several fittings. Black screw heads remain visible on the stock and grips, alongside the layered edges of the wood.

Display Space

Finished Length and Height

Submachine Gun measures about 27.4 inches long and 7 inches high once assembled (697 × 178 mm). For a cabinet display, measure the usable space inside the doors. Allow extra clearance around the barrel and stock so you can lift the model out when you want to use it.
