Vintage Chocolate Shop Scene

The roombox recreates a small-town chocolatier behind a stone facade, complete with a black-and-white checkerboard floor and a wrought-iron hanging sign. Tiny burlap sacks marked Nigeria and Ecuador cocoa bean sit beside ceramic jars and vases, while stacked tin boxes, wrapped candy packages, and a hand-lettered chalkboard fill the counter and open shelving.

Build Process

Assembly & Difficulty

Henry's Chocolate is rated Hard, built from 330 laser-cut wood pieces over about 8 hours. Panels are pressed out of pre-cut sheets and pieced together section by section, from the checkerboard base up through walls, counter, and shelving. Tweezers are included for setting the smallest chocolates and accessories into place, suited to teens and adults.

Henry's Chocolate Shop has a built-in LED light tucked beneath the overhead sign, casting a warm glow across the counter and shelves once evening falls. Power comes from 2 AAA batteries, purchased separately. Lit up, the pendant lamp and glowing shelves bring out the amber wood tones and deepen the vintage, old-world chocolatier mood after dark.
